Help NT Writers Festival 'Go Global'

Help NTWC Go Global and bring an award winning international author to the NT Writers Festival to celebrate the diverse literary culture of the NT.

NT Writers Centre is part of AusArt Day on 23 October, a nationwide fundraising day to raise funds for artists work and creative ambitions on a single, powerful day. This day aims to amplify the visibility of the arts and inspire greater generosity across the country.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 with the help from our community of writers and storytellers. 

We receive feedback from our  NT Writers Festival survey that our audience wants to see international authors at NTWF. Our audience consists of emerging and published authors, arts and culture lovers, families and the general public who love stories, storytelling and events inspired by place. They want to connect with international authors, hear from authors who have won prestigious recognitions such as Stella, Booker or Miles Franklin awards, and to learn and be inspired by them. Help us give the audience what they want!

Any money raised by 31 May 2026 will be matched by Creative Australia.
