Margaret Lambert’s first book “Longing to Live: Journey with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia” received an Honourable Mention in the London Book Festival awards in 2014. Her second book “Longing to Live Mindfully: Little words that make a difference” was published in 2016. Margaret is also a contributing author of “Walking Your Life,” a selection of stories written by people who have overcome significant barriers in their lives.
Margaret has called the Territory home since the age of 21. She has worked as a teacher and librarian in remote NT, and as a university lecturer and psychologist in Darwin, where she has established her business Connect Counselling Services.
Margaret’s ongoing interest for writing and public speaking lies in the area of health, wellbeing and leadership. She places emphasis on the whole person and the importance of self-love, self-care and healing in order to become our best. Reflecting and focusing on our life stories are central to our growth and transformation.
