The Darwin version of this event is run by the NT Writers’ Centre and the Library & Archives of the NT.
Wild Words, Darwin’s own monthly spoken word/poetry open mic event, is on again! The theme for the merry month of May is ‘Strange Meeting‘, and it’s a chance to explore all the weird, wild and/or wonderful encounters you’ve had with people, animals, places and things. So get onto your favourite word processing device (yes, pen and paper count) and bash out some wild words to share in front of an appreciative audience, then stick around to enjoy some live jazz at The Bat afterwards.
