Need a little motivation to write, or just want some quiet company while you do?

Write Away is a new monthly meetup hosted by NT Writers’ Centre in Garramilla/Darwin — a relaxed and welcoming space to dedicate time to your writing, surrounded by fellow creatives.

Whether you’re scribbling in a notebook, typing up edits, starting something new or finally returning to that half-finished piece, Write Away is about simply showing up — no pressure, just time and space to write alongside others.

We know how hard it can be to make space for creative work in busy lives, so this group is here to help you carve out a regular rhythm and connect with a supportive community while you’re at it.

Free and open to all NTWC members — new members welcome.

Bring your preferred writing tools, whatever project you’re working on. There’s no need to prepare anything ahead of time — just come ready to write.
