Pitch to a Publisher
Whether you’re polishing your first book or have a first draft ready, this is a rare chance to learn from a publisher and potentially get your work noticed.
Northern Territory writers are invited to join Pink Shorts Press for a one-hour online session that will demystify the pitching process and give you practical tools to take your manuscript to the next stage.
In this session, you’ll learn:
- How to find the right publisher for your work
- What to include in a strong synopsis and author bio
- How to identify effective comparison titles (books or other media)
- What Pink Shorts Press is looking for in submissions
The session will finish with a live Q&A.
Want to pitch your work?
Details on how to submit your pitch to Pink Shorts Press will be provided after the session. Submissions will be open 9–30 October, with at least three writers selected to receive a manuscript request and feedback. One or more may even be chosen for publication!
