Sandra Thibodeaux

Sandra Thibodeaux is an award-winning playwright and poet. She has written 20 plays that have been staged across Australia and Southeast Asia, and broadcast on Radio National. Her latest plays include Calls to 1194, The Age of Bones and Mr Takahashi (and other falling secrets).

Sandra has won the NT Literary Awards three times for her plays and has been shortlisted for the Patrick White, Griffin and Green Room awards. She has published four collections of poetry, the latest being Dirty H2O. In 2011, she was Australian Poetry’s Poet-in-Residence and, in 2022, she received a BR Whiting Studio residency in Rome. Sandra is currently Lecturer in Arts and Humanities at Charles Darwin University.
