Become a Festival Volunteer!

Volunteer at the 2026 NT Writers Festival this May.

The NT Writers Festival will take place from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st of May in Garramilla/Darwin. Our volunteers are the face of the festival, and the extraordinary work of our volunteer team is a major part of making it such a successful event.

To show our appreciation, volunteers who complete at least four hours of work will receive a $70 festival voucher to purchase tickets to events of their choice (excluding workshops and limited-capacity events).

The main site of the festival will be at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT), with a few events held at other venues around town.
