Off the Page September 10, 6pm at the Darwin Sailing Club
It's all about the laughs!!Returning to the sunset splendour of the Darwin Sailing Club, the NT Writers’ Centre is delighted to present a night of some of the funniest writing around. Headlining the night will be comedian, musician and actor Phil Densen. Phil has performed and written a number of pieces for performance including State of Mind which was was recently nominated for an AWGIE award. Also appearing will be poet and humourist, Greg Boxsell. Greg is well-known among Off the Page punters for his poignant, beautiful and funny poetry. Local playwright and comedienne Danielle Andrews will be wowing the crowds with her quirky and hilarious work. Music is courtesy of hip-hop artist Liam Monkhouse (out of Culture Connect). Open mic registration and kick off is 6pm. $10 full / $6 concession or member. Darwin Sailing Club. Come on down. Have a giggle.
