Samantha Penangka Armstrong

Werta, Rrrirtna nuka nem Samantha Penangka Armstrong-Nh. I am a Pertame/Pitjantjatjara woman from Henbury and Idracowra, but have lived most of my life in Mparntwe. I am currently working as a Language Nest Coordinator with the Pertame School, through the Centre of Australian Language Linguistics Desert Peoples Campus at the Batchelor Institute.

The Pertame Ngketya Untya (language nest) is the only full immersion language nest that has no English in its space. We are teaching young mothers how to raise their children in Pertame in everyday living situations without the use of English.
