Emma Trenorden

Emma is an mparntwe-based poet and singer-songwriter. In 2022 she was the recipient of an Arts NT and Varuna Writers House Fellowship in which she worked on her book of poems, HIGH FIRE DANGER. Published in 2024 by Walleah Press, Emma’s debut book of poems is written in response to the Black Summer fires. In 2024 Emma also recorded a debut EP, reWILD. When she’s not writing poetry and songs, she is the mother of two, works as an Arts Therapist and sings with local singers The Splinter Sisters.
