Daniel Browning

Daniel Browning is a writer, journalist, radio broadcaster, documentary maker and sound artist. He is also the author of the collection, Close to the Subject, which won the 2024 Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Non-Fiction and the Indigenous Writing Prize at the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. An eclectic mix of literary genres and mediums, the collection is a testament to Browning’s long and accomplished career in the arts.
