Katharina Fehringer
Katharina is a Filipino-Australian multidisciplinary artist raised in Darwin. She is a painter, musician, actress, writer and music teacher in violin, classical guitar and piano. She enjoys culture, languages, traveling and the odd French Martini. Her writing is evocative, powerful, full of imagery, imagination with a deep sense of longing and passion for the mystery of the unknown. She was the recipient of the Young Australian of the Year NT, the 2023 NT Literary Award in poetry, is currently writing 3 novels and will be publishing a 100 page poetry anthology at the end of the year titled Butterscotch Kisses dedicated to her dear brother Josef Fehringer.
