Gathering Ground Workshop Series: Walking, Talking and Writing with Place
Walking and writing have a long history together. Join Kelly-Lee Hickey for a leisurely stroll along the winding path of walking and writing practice, encountering the theories and thinkers who have shaped the way we read, write and walk in the world, from the vantage point of your own back yard.
Each workshop will include an introduction to the theoretical concepts behind each weeks theme, a short walking practice undertaken in each participants local area or backyard, practical writing exercises, group sharing and feedback. This workshop is open to writers and artists of any form or experience interested in developing new ways of seeing, being and writing with/in place.
