Become a Volunteer at the NT Writers Festival 2025

The 2025 NT Writers Festival will take place from 29 May – 1 June at the Olive Pink Botanic Gardens in Mparntwe | Alice Springs with a few events and workshops to be held in other venues around town. Each year we are fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers who give their time and energy to help create a successful festival.

Registrations to take part in the 2025 NT Writers Festival are now open! We are looking for friendly, professional and dedicated volunteers to assist with various roles including box office operations, ushers, green room assistants, runners, drivers, and bar support.

To show our appreciation, volunteers who complete at least four hours of work receive a $70 voucher to use to purchase events at the Festival (excludes workshops and limited capacity events).
