Creative Writing for Young People with Alison Evans
Join award-winning Young Adult writer Alison Evans for a special online writing workshop for young people aged 12 – 16 years. Through writing exercises and discussion about the wonderful world of Young Adult books, we will create our own story setting, main character, and the start of a plot and come away with all the tools needed to make a stand-out short story.
Alison Evans is the award-winning author of the queer young adult books Ida, Highway Bodies and most recently Euphoria Kids. Their fiction focuses on science fiction, magic and all the different types of love. They are the co-editor of the zine Concrete Queers and are a contributor to Kindred: 12 Queer #LoveOzYA Stories. They are based on Wurundjeri Land/Melbourne.
