Tisha Perrurle Carter

Tisha Perrurle Carter is an Anmatjere woman from Ti Tree community, 200 kms north of Mparntwe Alice Springs. A tireless community advocate in Mparntwe Alice Springs for decades, her poetry is featured in ‘Arelhekenhe Angkentye Women’s Talk’. She was awarded the Creative Australia ELEVATE First Nations Storytelling Fellowship in 2024. Tisha is a director for Running Water Community Press – the first author run co-operative publisher in the world.
