Rachel began her film career at the original CAAMA studio south of the Gap. Thirty years on, her work includes the TV dramas Total Control, Mystery Road and Redfern Now, produced by Blackfella Films, a company she founded. Her movies include Mabo, Bran Nue Dae, One night the Moon, Radiance and Craig Silvey’s Jasper Jones. She helmed the documentary series First Australians and most recently The Australian Wars.
