Dr Josie Douglas (PhD) has thirty years’ experience working across sectors to make a difference in people’s lives. She is an award-winning researcher, having worked for research agencies such as CSIRO and CDU. Josie has worked in senior executive positions at the Central Land Council and Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. She has been involved in negotiating significant NT and Australian government policy setting and implementation and is a powerful advocate for equity and social justice for remote Aboriginal people. Josie was appointed as a member of the First Nations Referendum Engagement Group and was involved in the Central Australia Regional Dialogue and the Constitutional Convention at Yulara in May 2017.
