Jennifer Pinkerton

Jennifer Pinkerton is an environment journalist and the author of Heartland (Allen & Unwin), a non-fiction exploration of modern love set between Darwin and Canberra – six years, and over 100 interviews, in the making. Most recently, she’s contributed long-form features to The Weekend Australian, and also written for the Guardian, the Courier Mail and the Sydney Morning Herald, plus many other travel titles during her time in the travel writing and photography game. She holds a Doctorate of Creative Arts and teaches journalism and media at Charles Darwin University.
