Eleanor Hogan
Eleanor Hogan is a literary non-fiction writer and independent researcher whose writing draws on her experience of Central Australia. She is the author of NewSouth’s Alice Springs (2012) and Into the Loneliness: the unholy alliance of Ernestine Hill and Daisy Bates (2021), which received several shortlistings, including the Magarey Medal for Biography 2022 and the National Biography Award 2022. She is co-host of the Cook & Book Show on 8CCC community radio, about what to read and cook on the weekend, and the producer of ‘Book Chat’, a podcast series based on her interviews with authors on Centralian themes.
