The Adelaide House Museum Working Group

The Adelaide House Museum Working Group formed in 2022 to work towards telling a richer, more balanced and honest story about Adelaide House and its place in the town, today and over the past century. An initiative of the Alice Springs Uniting Church, it brings together Arrernte elders with church and community volunteers to break new ground in local story-telling for museum display. Our work-in-progress is supported by the Alice Springs Meeting Place Foundation as well as the generosity of John and Jane French and the Handmaid Fund.
