The health and safety of all our writers, staff, guests and patrons is paramount. For this reason, the NT Writers Festival has made the unfortunate announcement it can no longer go ahead as scheduled from May 14-17. The Festival will be postponed to October 1-4, 2020. Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges. More info
Want to be part of making the NT Writers Festival happen? There are number of great ways you can get involved.
Are you a cocktail queen, a customer service super star or a book lover who also loves to lend a helping hand? Then join the NTWF team as part of our volunteer crew. Volunteers:
- get an insider’s view of the festival
- have the opportunity to rub shoulders with patrons, artists, staff and other volunteers
- are able to see some of sessions while working, depending on your role
- plus, if you volunteer for at least four hours, you get to attend three sessions of your choice FREE!
Our volunteers are professional, helpful and friendly; basically, they are the glue that holds the festival together.
Volunteer applications are now open. Register now.
Accessibility is important to us, so we endeavour to keep our ticket prices reasonable. Ticket revenue for the NT Writers Festival only covers around 13% of the cost of running the festival. Without the help of our generous partners, sponsors and donors, the festival just couldn’t happen. Thankfully, every little bit counts. Make a donation now and help us continue bringing exciting guests and quality literary programming to the NT.
