UNDER A BLOODWOOD TREE SHE SAT AND SPOKE ... (an Alice Desert Festival 2010 event)

Wednesday September 15 (Alice Springs), 5.30pm

Poets and storytellers gather on the rural fringe of town. Beneath the canopy of a bloodwood tree they speak. A scrub of seeds is sown. A forest of words is planted. Minds and souls are regenerated. Bring a rug or a chair, and open your ears to the cream of Alice Springs' award-winning writers and poets. Featuring Jo Dutton, Kelly-lee Hickey, Kathleen Epelde, Dani Powell and more.

Venue: look for the sign on Kurrajong Drive, then walk 200 metres along a walking track to the largest bloodwood tree and a natural bush stage

Cost: gold coin donation
