The See My World project is funded by the Westpac Foundation, over three years. the See My World literary project is share-managed by the Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) and the Northern Territory Writers Centre (NTWC).
Workshops are held each year in regional and remote communities and towns around Australia. Some workshop locations include:

Kununurra WA Yuendumu NT Flinders Island Tas Port Augusta SA Brewarrina NSW APY Lands SA Wilcannia NSW Coober Pedy SA Wreck Bay NSW Wugularr NT Robinvale Vic Kalgoorlie WA Broome WA Torres Strait Islands Doomadgee Qld Titjikala NT
Indigenous authors are escorted by the Project Officer, Ali Cobby Eckermann, to mentor the workshops. These role models help identify and assist the local young storytellers in each location. Emphasis on community focused enhancement and holistic skills building are provided by these established and published Indigenous authors.
From these initial workshops, three writers from each location are invited to attend an annual national workshop.
The end result is a collection of these written works, which is currently being published in an anthology. Copies will be returned to the young writers and their communities, and will soon also be available for sale to the wider public.
The See My World Manager for 2009 and 2010 is Ali Cobby Eckermann.
